The standing desk and alternative seating options, such as the beanbag and triangular rug, will allow students different and more comfortable spaces to optimize their learning. Flexible seating will allow the students to sit and complete work in areas that aren't a desk. The alternative desk will allow students to stand while they work. Both options will help students focus better on what they are learning and the tasks they are completing. The Post-it Easel Pad, dry erase lapboards, and markers will allow us to complete a bigger variety of activities. These materials and furniture will make this community of students feel more comfortable and less formal while they are learning. It will also allow them to tap into the creative side of their brain. Your donation will help us gain materials and furniture for a new resource classroom.
