During the pandemic students forget some coping skills and how to be kind to other students and teachers. During this time they have to relearn to socialize and recognize certain character qualities such as: empathy, upstander, bystander, bullying, responsibility, respect, fairness, caring, trustworthy, friendship amongst many more qualities needed to thrive in life. Also, these literature pieces will help the classroom teachers integrate writing and reading lessons into the classroom. I have been doing these lessons for six years now and I have found that character books with powerful messages carry a lifelong message

About my class
