I am planning to enhance my counseling office with resources and technology that are hands-on, interactive, and informative. The students are expected to receive adequate and useful service from their school counselor. The students who visit my office for social-emotional reasons will relax, de-stress, and will be able to use the resources to cope with their emotions and situations. The students will also receive academic/college/career information and resources from my office. My counseling office will have an enhanced look with resources that will help them to be motivated. The students, staff, and other stakeholders such as parents and community partners will feel welcome in my office. My office will be upgraded and enhanced with student resources for their social-emotional/academic/college/career needs with adequate supplies, wall decor, lighting, and furniture. The students will experience a calming atmosphere that will help them to express themselves better and have a greater capacity to receive services from me.
