Technology is not only a necessity in the art room but it is also a right that the students of my middle school should have equitable access to. Not only will students benefit from having access to the internet for research purposes, students will also have access to technology based art projects such as animation, stop motion, and photography- things that chrome books have limits to. Technology in the form of Okiocams and external speakers will aid in students' learning and engagement. Students can use Okiocams for uploading artwork to Artsonia, create stop motion/ animation projects, and be used for photography. Speakers will aid in the various videos shown throughout class supporting art history and contemporary artists creating artwork around students.
