The graphic novel of the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" will allow for my students with disabilities to follow along as we read this novel in class. This gives students a chance to understand the story a bit easier, specifically for those who are visual learners. They will have the ability to participate in class discussions and complete assigned work. They have less text than traditional books, which makes them less overwhelming. Graphic novels are easy to read but have age-appropriate content. Graphic novels are engaging and high-quality reading material.
