I teach 1st grade and literacy is a huge part of our day. These hand on literacy manipulative tools will help me teach and students learn. It is so helpful when students are able to manipulate letters in a physical way to build words. This allows them to explore what happens when different letters come together. These are all materials I have been wishing I've had throughout the beginning of the year. I have several students who due to the pandemic were unable to attend a normal kindergarten year. Due to this situation, they have needed and still need extra support to help them learn and understand reading and writing.
