Reading is one of the fastest ways to fill in the gaps that some students missed during distance learning, while still challenging our "high-flyers." These materials will not only develop students' literacy skills, but are perfect for differentiating to where they're at, helping them catch up, and then challenging them to pursue deeper fluency skills. Furthermore, speaking practice was at little to none during distance learning. The use of headsets will allow students to engage in more Spanish speaking practice and to get more feedback as they can also listen to themselves and get feedback from the teacher based on recordings. Also, these are extremely useful for both the AAPPL test and the Avant Stamp test in order to bridge equity gaps by supporting students in achieving their Seal of Biliteracy.
