I teach students about restorative practices both with their bodies when they're feeling restless and during social conflicts. It's important my students feel comfortable processing through feelings and resolving conflicts while having a safe and calming space. With your help, this space will have low lighting, sensory fidgets, and other calming activities. These tools will help my students feel empowered while participating in self-care through self-regulation which will help them reintegrate into their academic and social classrooms. Thank you in advance for the small items that will help students be successful.
