The purchase of this iPad is a luxury that most schools cannot afford. During Covid, our campus was closed and students were transitioned to virtual learning. Since returning to the school campus, students have been struggling to make up missed instructional time. Now that students are back on campus, there is a learning deficit (the Covid slide), especially for students with disabilities and students who are English Language learners. The use of an iPad will facilitate student re-engagement by providing a tool that can be used for small group instruction as well as individualized learning. The use of the iPad will support my students by providing hands-on activities that support reading and math in the classroom.

About my class
