Most kids hate to read unless they are reading books about bad guys, Dr. Seuss, and Cat Kid. I am working on building a school library full of books that my students will enjoy. I want to encourage them to want to read and make it something they enjoy doing! Help our school library get books! The kids always ask me for these books in the library but we have very limited funding. I try my best to keep up with their demands on books, but we don't have funding to order any books. The more they read, the more exposure they will have to many things. I encourage them to read in English or Spanish, no matter the language as long as they are reading. I want to have books that appeal to all of our young readers.
