I will develop knowledge, strategies and practices to impart to students in the development of their own social-emotional wellness awareness, skills and strategies. As many students struggle in a post-pandemic world, it's important for them to understand vulnerability, grit, agency and perseverance. Additionally, I am serving on our district's Civility Council, and have chosen books to help me gain more knowledge regarding racism and equity. Also, I am leading a group of students to Costa Rica in the spring, and purchased several books to take on our trip. I am already funded with a gift code.

About my class
