Students love to play games and playing games like chess, checkers, and tic-tac toe help develop skills of strategy, problem-solving, and flexibility. During the pandemic, we have had to scale back our lunchtime activities in the library due to the need to stay apart. Giant games will allow us to take our games outside and keep students far enough apart to be safe. Students also love to support the events around our city. We have monthly school family field trips. Students will be able to take these games to outside community events like the San Antonio Book Festival and recruiting events. They can showcase their knowledge and learning to the entire city by teaching others how to play and strategies for success.
