As students explore and investigate how history has made an impact and a difference, not only in the past, but how does it benefit and sometimes hurt progress in today's society. Students will be able to see how the world came together. Not only through physical labor, but with determination and a mindset to create long-lasting change. A new perspective may not change an opinion, but it can help to bolster and influence conversation. Students will be able to visualize how history has come together, and answer that age old question, Was Rome built in a day? Students can explore, share and save how history is an influence in his/her life and the impact it can have in society today. Students will use Nevada Academic Standard: SS.9-12.CE.11. Use disciplinary and interdisciplinary lenses to understand the characteristics and causes of contemporary issues at the local, regional, and global level.
