These items will help my students calm down and give them many sensory options to use. This will also help prevent student behaviors because they will have the necessary items to be calm. My students have been on and off distance learning since March of 2020, change is so hard for them. These items will definitely help make all the change easier. Snacks, fidgets, learning-based toys will all be sent home with students if needed during distance learning. These items will also help us to learn what helps each student so we can better help them when they are upset. With many of these tools, students will be able to better communicate when upset and be helped.
