My students are ready to learn when challenged! The challenging activities used in my classroom stem from using technology to arouse students’ senses by drawing and painting images in the classroom and at the school’s site. Computer technology has also come to boost learning behavior where my students learn to read, play interactive online game activities that add more value to my lesson objectives. When my classroom is decorated with picture-based information, my students tend to make connections and apply what they see to real life situations. Class computer interactive games, group art and community-based projects are great for my students because they can practice on their own, get comfortable and connect with peers. Blended learning and Project-based learning activities in my classroom help my students to do team and independent work to build in depth mastery of lesson objectives and these improve socialization. Our community-based instruction that involves all students to experience vocational learning, community symbols and landscapes connect my students to know the value of self-advocacy, inclusion, and self-actualization. Telling time and knowing the value of money is very essential for my students to equip themselves with workplace habits and purchasing. The informational resources that will be donated to my students will hopefully serve as effective treatment tools that can assist them with learning needs to manage their behaviors and improve socialization, reading and functional math.
