Students need to be able to identify, analyze, document, and debate how history helps to shape and create policies, actions, and beliefs of people today. Students will be given the opportunity to view documents, artifacts, and information throughout history by connecting the iPad to the projector. The teacher will then be able to freely walk about the room and help to motivate and engage learners. Students will also be able to mark the document to identify key words, ideas, and themes. Discussions will develop by analyzing the documents. Information can be historical documents, videos, artwork, and other visually stimulating information. All students will then be able to comment and develop and apply his/her critical thinking skills. Information can then be shared and help to support Nevada Academic standard: SS.9-12.US.11.
