In my classroom we employ an incentive program, titled “Race to success”. Each student is represented on a chart by a race car of their own design. In order to propel their race car forward each day, students much demonstrate their expected behaviors that are aligned with out school-wide program “On the RISE”. Students must be respectful, independent, safe and empowered. My students require daily incentives to maintain motivation and engagement in the program. My students would like to earn incentives such as candy, erasers, and fidgets, to name a few.
