I am blessed to teach students with learning disabilities. By using dry erase boards, students will demonstrate reading comprehension. Instead of using the traditional writing techniques, students will develop visual analysis skills, promoting critical thinking skills. The dry erase board, markers, and pencils will allow students to expand their comprehension of novels through artistic activities. The lessons will be tailored to include reading comprehension strategies such as vocabulary, main idea/theme, mood, tone, and other elements to increase student engagement. As a result, students will become avid readers and critical thinkers.
