The standing desk and portable PA system will make a huge difference in my students' learning as they are experiencing their very first year of in-person schooling. They are full of valuable thoughts and ideas but can be too shy to share so that everyone can hear. On top of that, the students' voices are even harder to hear as they are muffled by the masks we wear for the greater majority of the school day. These materials can aid in giving my students the confidence to boldly express themselves. They will be using them to build on their speaking and listening skills during class discussions. They will be using them to share their strategies for problem-solving in math. They will use them for presenting their drawings and art pieces. The possibilities are endless! These students amaze me with what they have to say. Having these materials will help all of our students hear those amazing ideas coming straight from the brilliant minds that thought of them.
