I want to give more opportunities for hands-on activities rather than just virtual labs. With a new lab, we are able to have hands-on activities to learn science concepts. Up until now, our best labs have been done online and are not as meaningful. I want to create a learning space for kids to create science, learn science, and build their knowledge and curiosity. We have a unit on forces and motion learning about Newton’s Law. The understanding of forces and motion will be given more understanding with an air track to see exactly how momentum and velocity can work together. I have a great lab project that would be made even better with an air track and show the action and reaction law without the use of friction.
