As a counselor, I see students for a variety a reasons, from academic needs to social-emotional needs. My office should be a place students feel calm and comfortable in. And they should be able to walk out with tools that help them - whether it's strategies or something tangible. The items in my project will create the environment I envision for my students and be able to give them the tangible items in their hands that can aide in focus and self-calming. Some of these items are also going to a part of our positive reward system being implemented in second semester as a counseling department. I am so excited to be able to share with the students an environment and objects that can aide in their social-emotional well-being!

About my class
