Getting students to read can be a struggle. It is important to have engaging novels in the classroom so that learning can take place. Having a high-interest text will allow my students to become engaged in their learning. I have found much success in choosing and planning lessons and activities that are fun and relatable to our community. Having a class set of this novel will build my students' interest in monitoring their own willingness to learn and create lifelong readers. Thank you for helping my students grow to be their best selves.
