The carpet will create a more comfortable learning environment for my students. They will be able to comfortably sit on the carpet while interacting with the whiteboard when in the classroom. The Hispanic themed books will allow the students to see their culture depicted within the stories. When students are exposed to seeing their own culture in books, it better supports them in relating to the characters. Ultimately this encourages them to read more. The carpet will also give the students a more comfortable place to read within the classroom.
