We need a safe & quiet area for children to use when in need of some "alone" or reflective time. Currently, we have standard tables & chairs but no "softer" area that could afford a resting/"breathing" space. These new beanbag chairs are softer and along with a new rug and calming manipulatives, the children will have available the tools to take personal responsibility when that occasional need to step aside and breathe arises! With 27 children in the same classroom, it will be a real boost to be able to integrate this space into our daily routine that acknowledges feelings and emotions are OKAY!

About my class
