Our students finally got Chromebooks, giving them access to technology programs. My students thrive on being able to use the new technology to show off how they are mastering their skills. These programs such as Lexia, ST Math, Reflex Math, and Epic, give the students opportunities to expand and display their learning. However, the school does not have enough headphones that work with the Chromebooks. Because of this, many of those programs cannot be used to their full potential. Headphones for each individual student would allow my class to use these amazing Chromebooks we have been so fortunate to receive. Being able to use all these programs would give them more practice time and expand their technology skills, which is necessary to be successful in the future.
