In this project, students plan, produce, and edit their own podcasts and videos. This project teaches so many fundamental skills for our 21st century students: digital literacy, collaboration, media production, technology use, and design thinking. Digital literacy is so important for today's students to succeed. Teaching students how to create podcasts and videos gives them an up-close look at media production. Giving students a voice increases engagement and encourages critical thinking. These headsets will allow all of my students the opportunity to play a hands-on role in the production process, regardless of the opportunities they have at home.

About my class
