Our school has about 850 students who all are required to take 3 years of PE. This project will help us teach our after school PE courses that provide high school students the opportunity to earn PE credit. After returning to school in person we purchased a ton of PE supplies to help get our students moving, but we did not buy very much for basketball. With our gym just being completed in 2019 we are grateful to have an indoor facility to play basketball! We just need some new equipment to get us started. This unit will cover standards, 3.12.2 Apply lifelong activity patterns through participation in physical activity and 3.12.1 Engage in a variety of moderate to vigorous physical activities.
