My students' academics will grow exponentially when gradually releasing them to their independent practice with fun tactile learning materials, that will keep their interest at high stakes. When students are learning how to read it often is explicitly taught, but with flashcards or letter word cubes students are able to see and understand the concepts, family words, and as they are playing they are also learning. Maximizing instructional time while practicing the skills necessary for success.The utilization of hands on activities during centers will aid student lesson plans and maximize practice during class time.
