These calculators are a MUST for statistics students to be able to visualize and determine probabilities, confidence intervals, and significance levels for hypothesis testing. Technology, and more specifically graphing calculators, in statistics are crucial for binomial distributions which have their basis in Paschal's Triangle, but have some broad applications in sampling distributions, normal distribution probabilities, and statistical inference (which include confidence intervals and hypothesis tests). These calculators will be available for students who don't have their own calculators to check out and bring home with them during distance-learning days. My students are not "plug and chug" students. Each one of them has the desire to explore the meaning of the numbers and data they are working with.
