"For every minute spent in organization, an hour is earned," -Benjamin Franklin. This powerful quote encapsulates the attitude of my bilingual Kindergarten class, which strives to take advantage of every minute available for learning. My students will use the seat storage sacks to organize their materials (books, writing folders, math manipulatives, notebooks, and writing and coloring tools) to have them ready for quick transitions between subjects. Having those seat storage sacks will save time and consequently increase available learning time. Also, my class needs book bins to keep the classroom library sorted out; the magnetic folder bins will help students keep their work in progress organized; the answer board supply center and number bond materials will be used for math interventions in small groups that allow for immediate feedback in the learning process. Given the time lost due to pandemic-related challenges, such as students being sick or needing to quarantine, the short class time we do have is even more precious, and thus, it is imperative that we take advantage of every minute by having the resources needed for the activities properly arranged.
