These materials will be used to support IEP goals and progress in advancing with general education grade-level standards for grades 2-5 with emphasis on 4th and 5th grades. Grade-level phonics mastery is a huge challenge for my students as are multi-step math skills involving algebraic and order of operations concepts. The games may also be used for remote learning in the event of COVID quarantine challenges. Learning through gameplay often has a more meaningful impact on retention and mastery of very difficult concepts. The gameplay also challenges children with disabilities to problem solve in different ways.
