I have a handful of students in my classes who struggle with ADD/ADHD and for them sitting in a seat for a 2 hour lesson is next to impossible. However when they are able to stand and move around they are able to be more focused and understand the lesson more. They are able to get their blood pumping and be less distracted. The ability to learn in a way that works for them is essential! After seeing the difference it made just by having them stand behind their chair during a lesson was fantastic. However them bending down so much to complete their work will become a challenge as the year goes on so I would love to be able to supply them with a desk that can go to their level.
