My students need color printouts and work because they have low vision and have a hard time making out black and white images. Currently, we share one black and white printer with the entire elementary school which is located across the school from where my room is. I also only need to make 8 copies of each worksheet so taking the time walking to the printer and then waiting our turn for 8 sheets takes time away from learning and instruction time. Our children also bring their breakfast, lunch, and snacks from home because many of them have food allergies and food aversions from most of the food served in the cafeteria. We currently only have the shared refrigerator in the teacher's loung to store the food and we would love to give the students easier access and more independence with taking their own by having a fridge in the classroom just for them to use.
