The school library has a Makerspace area which is mainly for grades 4-6. It is lacking items for K-3 graders. The students will learn to create, design, and build. They will be documenting their work in S.T.E.A.M. notebooks decorated by the students. The 4-6 graders will have the opportunity to teach their knowledge with K-3 by explaining what create, design. and build means. The upper grade students will be called S.T.E.A.M. Buddies. For ideas they can use the library books which are located in the Makerspace with descriptions of projects.
