These materials will allow an area within my Special Learning Center classroom for my kindergarten through 3rd grade students to learn through both structured as well as open ended exploration. LEGOS are great math tools while teaching shapes and colors as well as exploring math computation ranging from counting to repeated addition to division and beyond. They are also great tools for open ended exploration. Students will develop team work, perseverance and problem solving skills. Lastly, it is a great tool for many of my students who have fine motor difficulties. Using LEGOS builds hand strength and dexterity. Thank you for considering my project!
