My school is all in person. None of the materials will be used for distance learning. The yarn and knitting machine are to teach students how to make their own beanies. This is something that I believe the students will think is fun and exciting, but that is something that is also different for them. I think this can be an exciting new experience that might get students into yarn crafts. The art supplies are to enhance art lessons and provide more materials for students to create amazing artworks. Students have access to simple markers in class, but I want to expand their art knowledge and also provide them with more experience with different styles of art. The books are to help my ELA students expand their reading experiences. Many students have a hard time getting access to books, especially new ones. I chose some of my favorite books from when I was in middle school that taught me to enjoy reading. I'm hoping by providing more books to students, that more students will be able to read outside of school, and grow to enjoy reading.
