I am requesting a color printer and ink. The ability to print color maps and political cartoons in the classroom will give my US History and US Government students both in class and at home an opportunity to better understand geography as well as to develop their document analysis skills. In a world where my students are quite familiar with sharing memes we can further their understanding of document analysis with a quality color printer for my classroom. Due to staffing shortages, our school does not have a graphic arts employee and therefore all printing and copies are up to the individual teachers and poor quality prints and copies do deter the educational opportunities and diminish the students interest in staying on task. Thank you for the consideration.
