My students are experiencing more social/emotional and behavioral challenges directly resulting from COVID-related issues (distance learning, family stress, mitigation measures). The emotion/feeling related resources that I am requesting for this project will be used to help students learn to feel, label and express emotions in healthy ways. The games (time spent playing with and talking with students - which is a preferred reward for many students) and prizes will be used as incentives/rewards for students as they work to make good choices. Less time engaged in inappropriate behaviors means more time spent focusing on learning This project address: Nevada Academic Content Standards. Behaviors have to be under control before any academic learning can take place.
