As a team, we want to make tie-dye t-shirts with the students for our field day! Students will learn different folding techniques and that less is definitely more when it comes to tie dyeing. They'll each fold their t-shirt to get the desired effect they want, put the t-shirts in a plastic bag, and let them sit for 24 hours. After the shirts have sat the teachers will rinse the shirts out and wash and dry them. We can't wait to see the looks on the kid's faces when they see what design they've created. All the third graders will have a tie dye t-shirt to wear for field day!
