These items will help the student in our comprehensive life skills classes open up a coffee shop for the staff at our school. It will help them learn job skills, life skills, and social skills. They will learn how to make coffee, deliver coffee, how to prepare bagels, and learn money skills by applying real-world skills. These are skills our students need to help them find jobs after high school. Our students and staff are so excited to have the coffee shop running but we are in need of some supplies. The refrigerator will be used to store creamers for the coffee as well as the butter, cream cheese, bagels and muffins. The carts will be used to deliver Drinks, muffins, bagels. We have student with heavy autism and the light covers and lamps will help calm the mood in the classroom. We are also asking for a microwave so that student can heat up lunches or make microwave meals to learn life skills. The Toaster will help the student make bagels once our coffee shop opens.
