Because of COVID, my second graders were not able to fully grasp number sense and operations back in first grade during remote learning. Having these resources will give them more practice with numbers and give them more confidence to add double numbers which is part of the second grade standards. The reading resources will help my students that struggle with sounding out words to help them with their reading fluency. Also, the resources will enable deeper understanding of passages to help them with their higher-order thinking and asking thoughtful questions.
