Students will use the white boards to work out math solutions to word problems and show their thinking. When students are given open space to work out math problems, they can represent the word problems by drawing, writing equations, or using words to show their thinking. They can hold up their work for the teacher to easily scan for understanding or share their strategies with classmates. The boards can be erased for multiple uses. Kids love the novelty of using a white board and dry erase marker to do their work, and it saves paper too!
