Due to COVID regulations, my students have limited movement around the classroom. I would like to provide them with flexible seating, which will allow them to move safely in one spot. I will provide flexible seating to students at their assigned seats during opening group (calendar and weather), reading time, and during small groups (math, science, literacy activities). "Student success comes from a positive learning environment." My students will have a variety of seating options that will likely increase participation with the flexible seating from this project. Students will be in charge of their seating options and it will encourage my students to take turns with the various options.
