As a restorative justice coordinator at school, my job is to keep kids in school as much as possible when they get into trouble. Traditional student discipline typically results in suspension where kids will historically fall further behind their peers. When kids are sent to my office, I often keep kids for a period of time to avoid further problems in the classroom. This technology will allow students to continue to engage in class learning in my office and not in their classroom which could prevent them from falling further behind.
