The Lego Mindstorm Set will allow students to take charge of their learning in many different ways. First of all, they would need to engage in the planning process with a team to outline the possibilities of their project. They will need to design, build, code, and program what functions their project will need, so it can successfully run as intended. This set will not only allow them to be creative, but it will also teach them teamwork and problem solving, which in turn, will help them in their future endeavours. These are skills that they will use throughout their lifetime.
