Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. This project will enhance my students’ educational experience because it provides access to create with color. My students will benefit directly as a result of being able to use tools appropriately and connect with color in math. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, my students need more materials. This project will help them in this area. Also, the materials I am requesting, colored pencils, markers, and a standing desk, will nurture my students’ interest in STEAM through math and art. My hope is that the materials will make a qualitative difference in the instruction and climate in my classroom and create a group of lifelong learners.
