After not being in a classroom for two years, students' organizational skills have declined. At the end of each period, my classroom is often messy and in disarray. Because my classroom is deskless, to teach ASL without the burden of having furniture in the way of our signing space, my students need an easy spot to keep their daily materials. This is where Seat Sacks come in handy. Students will be able to have a place to put their whiteboards and (much needed) Expo markers instead of leaving them on the floor or losing them. Similarly, since my classroom is deskless, the seats tend to move around the room, yet students have a hard time putting them back where they belong. Having colored Carpet Markers will help students keep their environment tidy and organized. In order to help students be more mentally present and focused on their learning, they need to be off their cell phones. Having a safe place to put their phones, such as a Phone Pocket, will help with classroom management and ensure that students are more mindful of their learning, environment, and manners.
