Each Friday, my students interact with each other through "game days." These game days are used to enhance the skills learned within our classroom during the week and previous weeks. The games provide the students with a hands-on learning experience they are not typically exposed to due to the limited amount of resources. Also, students practice their social skills by participating in the games with each other instead of the teacher leading all of the lessons. Games help the students become more independent with their learning. We will also be using the supplies in the classroom, such as notecards, to study our sight words to become more fluent readers. The folders are used to send messages between school and home due to the limited technology available to the students at home. Please consider donating to helping enhance our game days!
