Hello! Covid-19 has impacted students across the world, especially their motivation to be successful in school. My proposal will help with this issue by providing incentives to students for completing work, following directions, demonstrating integrity, good effort, and so on. I will give away tickets to students that they will use to put in a raffle. Each week I will randomly choose tickets and students can choose from a variety of prizes. I have 8 classes (about 180 students), so I will need a lot of prizes to support this endeavor. I would love to purchase several various items to help support this project and help increase motivation and morale in my classes. Help me to reward students for a job well done! I have added in a few items such as tools for design, tape/dice for a genetics lab, and small whiteboards so students can actively participate in class by writing and sharing their answers. This will provide hands on activities in my science and STEM classroom. Also, I have many students that struggle with ADHD. I have added some items that will help these students focus such as kicking elastic bands to go around chairs and privacy shields to better block out distractions. Lastly, I have added several items that will help add to my classroom functionally and visually. Thank You!
