A 3D printer will boost learning for all of my students. The learning experience of building a machine from start to finish is incredibly valuable for students. They will then come to understand how the components work together on an intimate level. This hands-on approach is my way of getting through to students for whom learn-by-doing may click with them where formulas in a textbook fall short. With our student population, a lot of our students have never experienced success academically before so give them a project they can do.

About my class
